Senior School Blocks

The senior school building is the first school building facing the Raj Niwas Marg. The building was constructed under the supervision of Fr. Loesch. It is a majestic three storey building built up in an area of 78,044 square feet. Presently there are 1,183 students studying in the senior school and 57 staff members, out of which 42 are in the teaching faculty. The four blocks of buildings built in the shape of 'T' stand on pillars and the ground floor of the complex used to be fully vacant.
The first block that came up by 1964 was the 'Science Block' that is situated next to the main road and the assembly ground. It is in this block where all the senior science labs are now located. On the ground floor, we have the Music Room and the Maths Lab, while the Chemistry Lab is on the first floor, and the Biology and Physics labs are situated on the second floor. On the third floor, there are two demonstration rooms, which once used to be the science labs for secondary classes. Now we use these rooms for conducting school/board examinations or for practicing various school activities by the students. The two class-room blocks towards the tail end were built in 1965. On the ground floor of the Middle Block we have a class room as well as the Art Room. The first, the second and the third floors of this block consist of a set of four class-rooms as well as two tutorial rooms each. The first, the second and the third floors of the block towards the tail end consist of a set of four class rooms and two tutorial rooms each.
